Raf Technology built the Alor Pothe-আলোর পথ app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Raf Technology and is intended for use as is.

1. Information Collection and Use For a better experience, we collect certain personally identifiable information:

  • Personal Data: We collect your Name and Email Address via Google Authentication for profile management and personalized user experience.

  • Financial Data: We collect Purchase History to verify and manage premium features via Google Play Billing.

  • Data Storage: All collected personal data and purchase records are securely stored on our private server at http://raftechnologybd.com/ and Firebase. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing.

2. Permissions and Their Usage To ensure full functionality, the app requires:

  • Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK): Essential for continuous audio playback of Islamic discussions when the app is minimized or the screen is locked.

  • Exact Alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to provide precise daily motivational reminders.

  • Storage Access: Required to save/retrieve user-requested files (PDFs/Images).

  • Advertising ID (AD_ID): Used by AdMob to serve relevant advertisements.

3. Data Deletion Rights (Account Deletion) We provide users full control over their data. You can request to delete your account and all associated data (Name, Email, etc.) stored on our server.

  • How to Delete: 
    Users can request account deletion directly through the app's profile section. Upon request, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered Gmail, and the account along with all associated data will be permanently deleted within 45 days of confirmation.

  • We will remove your information from our database and Firebase within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Third-Party Service Providers We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

  • Google Play Services & Billing

  • Firebase (Auth, Analytics, Messaging)

  • AdMob (Uses cookies for personalized ads)

  • Lottie & Volley (App performance & animations)

5. Security We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Log Data & Cookies In case of errors, we collect Log Data (IP address, device name, OS version) via third-party tools to improve app stability. We may use third-party libraries that use cookies to improve their services.

7. Children’s Privacy Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal data, we delete it immediately.
